Krystal

Veterinary Assistant

Originally from the cozy town of Sedro-Woolley, I relocated to the Vancouver  area in May of 2025, bringing with me a deep love for animal medicine and compassion.

My journey into veterinary medicine began in 2019 after I made the brave decision to step away from college for nursing—unsure of exactly where I was meant to land, but certain I wanted a career centered around care and compassion. What started as a new path quickly became a true calling. Over the years, the profession has offered endless learning opportunities, meaningful connections, and moments that have solidified my desire to continue growing toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work in a feline-only practice, an experience that deepened my admiration for the unique needs of our cat companions. From sweet senior kitties to the spicy, opinionated ones—and of course the tiniest, mischievous kittens—I truly cherish the individuality each feline patient brings. Advocating for thoughtful, low-stress, and elevated feline care is something I’m deeply passionate about.

When I’m not at the clinic, you can usually find me outdoors—paddleboarding on calm water, hiking forest trails, snowboarding in the mountains, or planning my next travel adventure. And waiting for me at home is my sweet kitty, Margaret—affectionately (and lovingly!) nicknamed “Maggot”—who keeps life entertaining and full of love.
